STANLEY ROSNER, Ph.D.

Dr. Stanley Rosner founded the Counseling and Psychotherapy Group in 1958.  As  a clinical psychologist practicing in Fairfield County for over 40 years, he was dedicated to his patients, highly respected by the community and his  colleagues in the field of Psychotherapy.

Dr. Rosner was president of the Connecticut Psychological Association and Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society of Personality Assessment.  He was the author of 30 professional papers, and co-author of three books on creativity and of THE MARRIAGE GAP; a study of dysfunctional marriages, and of  THE SELF- SABOTAGE CYCLE; Why We Repeat Behaviors That Create Hardships and Ruin Relationships.  Dr. Rosner appeared extensively on radio and television.

Dr. Rosner authored more than 30 journal articles and five books.
